One day kintu was wandering in wilderness and so a beautiful lady known as Nambi . He admired the lady and asked her to marry him. Nambi was Guru's(heaven) daughter. Nambi had two brothers that is kayikuzi and Walumbe(god of death).
Nambi accepted to marry Kintu and they arranged and visited Guru nambi's father. When they arrived to guru's palace, Guru welcomed them. Kintu introduced him self to Guru and that he wanted to marry his daughter.
Guru accepted but he established tasks for kintu. Guru asked kintu to bring him water in a basket. Kintu fulfilled his task and went on the well to fetch water. He drew the basket in the well but nothing could be fetched in the basket. Kintu got luck and a spider webbed the basket and kintu fetched water to Guru.
Guru gave his daughter to and also other flocks of animals and birds.
Guru asked the newly married family to leave before walumbe came back from hunting. On their way to earth nambi realized that she forgot millet for her poultry. She went back to heaven and collected her millet. Walumbe was back from hunting and realised nambi was leaving him .Walumbe followed nambi to earth.
Nambi and kintu gave birth to sons and daughters. Walumbe asked nambi to give him on of their child to eat. Nambi and kintu refused to give in their child to Walumbe to feed on. Walumbe forcefully grabbed one of their child and ate it. Nambi reported to his father guru. Guru sent kayikuzi nambi's brother to capture Walumbe and take him back to heaven.
When Walumbe realized that kayikuzi's mission was to capture him he escaped to tanda and engraved himself.
